Manicure of the Day!

Today's manicure of the day is a Gold Gradient! To achieve this look, I used Nicole by OPI Not a Gold Bigger, Nicole's Nickel and Razzle Dazzle. Nicole by OPI can be purchased at these stores

Gradient Nails are actually pretty simple to do. All you need is a cosmetic sponge (you can buy a big bag for a couple of dollars). I normally cut a couple of small cubes off of the sponger, cut so itll last longer. First cover your nail in the desired base color, here it is gold. Next dip the sponge in the middle color (Nicole's Nickel) and lightly dab from the top of your nail down 1/2 of your nail. Concentrate the color more towards the top and gradually dab lighter as you travel down. Finish with the last color (Razzle Dazzle) as the very top of your nail, make it concentrate and try to fade it along the top 1/4 of your nail. Touch up with more color as needed, I had to go back and add more Nicole's Nickel.  Finish with a topcoat and voila! gradient nails. :)
