Mani of the Day!

This is going to be a super quick post because I'm in the middle of packing everything to go back to school! I just wanted to stick to my new Monday-Wednesday-Friday posting schedule and show you guys a Mani of the Day!

This mani features China Glaze First Mate and acrylic paint (silver,blue,white). I used a dotting tool to create the dots for the look!

I've seen dot gradients all over blogs and finally wanted to try it out (Check Chalkboard Nails for an amazing example!) I used 2 coats of First Mate and let it try. I then used my dotting tool and the different colors of acrylic paint and scattered the dots around the nail, more densely packed at the top. I sealed the design with a regular clear top coat. 

Overall, I am happy with the design and will definitely try it again. I might try to vary the size of the dots across the nail for a different variation!
