Valentine's Day 7

Today's Valentine's Day Mani is Pink Stripe Tip Design. I used Nicole by OPI's Stolen Kisses (another name that matches the occasion!), a bright pink with a beautiful shimmer. Nicole By OPI can be purchased from these retailers. I also used white and pink acrylic paint. Acrylic paint can be found at your local craft store, Michael’s and ACMoore.

I created this design by first painting my nails with Stolen Kisses and waiting for them to completely dry. Next I put a piece of scotch tape on an angle to block off the larger triangular shape for the pink. I painted the area with acrylic paint and removed the tape. Wait for the paint to dry then apply another piece of scotch tape for the white area. Remove the tape, let the paint dry and apply a clear top coat! The tape helps you achieve clean lines without having to worry about a steady hand, but you have to be patient or else you will have to redo the entire nail!
